Kris Veenis – Co-Director/Cinematographer/Editor – OUR WAY HOME
Kris Veenis is an award winning filmmaker, screenwriter and media arts instructor based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. In 2014 he began work with Alexis Werner and Gregg Deitz on the documentary project Our Way Home. In addition to his work on Our Way Home, he has produced work for a diverse group of non-profit, small business and nonprofit organizations in Pittsburgh through his production company Veenis Creative. In 2015 Kris and his writing partner, Don Ammon were the recipients of one of the inaugural Steeltown Indie filmmaking grants for their screenplay, Candyland, which they plan to begin production in the summer of 2016.
