Carolina Loyola-Garcia is a Chilean-born, and now Pittsburgh-based, filmmaker, video-artist, flamenco dancer, actor, and professor at Robert Morris University. Her passion for Flamenco is expressed through a colorful, richly layered documentary film “Sobre Las Olas” about the flamboyant Brooklyn-raised dancer Jose Greco who introduced Flamenco to the US and helped it to flourish. In this episode, Carolina discusses the making of the flamenco documentary currently doing the rounds at film festivals, and her experimental video art.
